Not last weekend, but the weekend before, my roommate and I decided to take a break from studying and drive down Oak Creek Canyon Road all the way to Sedona to see the beautiful changing leaves. We ended up going a bit too early because the trees were just starting to hint at yellow, but it was a blast nonetheless!!
This was the only red tree on the side of the road and there were tons of people taking pictures of it! Haha!
It rained as we drove down, but we got there only to be greeted by sunshine...
phenomenal clouds, and one amazing rainbow! We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day!
While we were there, we ate a quaint, family-owned pizzeria. The food was to die for and our leftovers fed us four more times! On the way home, we found this patch of fall trees!! I love living this close to so many fun things!

The colors are so beautiful, these pictures are postcard worthy. Ha. I'm glad you can enjoy the beauty of the north and catch a few outdoor adventures during your final school adventure. Looks like fun.
Such pretty pictures! Your mom and dad used to love to go to slide rock- so when I lived in Flagstaff I went there too- loved it!
