My Bike

Within the first week of living up here and seeing all the bikes, I decided I wanted a bike.

Everyone in Flagstaff owns a bike.

(Most of them own thousand+dollar bikes.)

Half own mountain bikes. The other half own road bikes.

Dilemma: What kind should I get?!

I spent all winter (while everyones bikes were tucked away) going back and forth between what I wanted. Did I want to get a bike I could take on the difficult but rewarding trails or did I want a bike to take on the long, hilly roads with views?

I probably changed my mind multiple times a day. What did I end up getting?!

This hybrid for $180...

It can handle easy trails and it can handle easy roads. But most importantly, it is now my mode of transportation to and from school and institute! I absolutely LOVE it! It saves gas money. Ironically, it saves me time (yes, it's faster to ride my bike to school than drive). It gets my heart pumping (this is an understatement). And it's getting me ready for my first triathalon...

So far, it's been a pretty awesome investment!!
